ABOUT:

Jon Rossi is a professional drummer, actor, Music Director, producer, and arranger.  He is currently the Music Supervisor and plays the role of Fluke on the national tour of Million Dollar Quartet.  Previous tours include Million Dollar Quartet (Fluke, Music Supervisor, Production Liaison), Stand By Your Man: The Tammy Wynette Story (drums), A Night With Janis Joplin (drums, Music Director), Million Dollar Quartet (Fluke, Music Director), Million Dollar Quartet (Fluke, Music Captain), and Smokey Joe's Café (drums).  When not on tour, Jon can often be found working at regional theatres as both a drummer and Music Director; playing with various tribute acts; doing studio work as a drummer, producer, or arranger; writing original music; or visiting as many zoos and aquariums as he can!  Jon is a passionate musician who brings professionalism, showmanship, and (most importantly) musicality and authenticity to everything he plays.

REVIEWS:

"Especially notable are the pounding drum combinations of Music Director Jon Rossi and goose bump-inducing guitar riffs by Alexander Prezzano and Nick Novelli."

     - Broadway World, Boston M.A.

"...the band, consisting of drummer Fluke (Jon Rossi) and bass player Jay Perkins (Jody Alan Lee) would match (Cohen's Jerry Lee Lewis') energy through their incredibly talented musical skills, creating a dynamic that is rarely seen."

     - Broadway World, Washington, D.C.

"Jon Rossi, as the drummer, W.S. 'Fluke' Holland...gave the backbone and rhythm needed to authenticise these classic rock-n-roll hits."

     - Broadway World, Los Angeles, C.A.

"No one knows the music of this show better than Jon Rossi."

     - The Daily Progress, Charlottesville, V.A.

"...and with astute musical direction provided by Jon Rossi (who also mans the drums masterfully)..."

     - Beachcomber News, Laguna Beach, C.A.

"Under Rossi's musical direction, the troupe dependably revives rockabilly classics..."

     - Indy Week, Raleigh, N.C.

"...musicians Jason William Steffan and Jon Rossi (drums and musical director)...were impeccable."

     - Fayetteville Observer, Fayetteville, N.C.

"The band consisted of Taylor Gray, Alexander Prezzano, Nick Novelli, Patrick McIsaac, Jon Rossi, Chris Smucker, Timothy Weiss, and Chase Flemming. These guys were each incredible musicians and performers. They had a great give and take relationship with the singers, especially McIntyre. The blues, in particular, is all about raw emotion, and the band was able to capture that in their music."

     - Maryland Theatre Guide, M.D.

"Drummer Jon Rossi energetically and ably keeps the show on tempo."

     - Chatham Life & Style, Raleigh, N.C..
